About the Artist Lynn King has had an interest in the arts from a very early age, exploring a variety of mediums and endeavors. Whether professionally singing, dancing, working as an interior designer or sketching, her earlier years were spent pursuing different forms of personal creative expression. Living in British Columbia, Canada for 23 years, she became a potter and sculptor while raising three children. Later, after relocating to Southern California where she was born and raised, she spent much of her free time throwing on the potters wheel and learning numerous forms of ceramic surface decoration. Lynn was the Lead Ceramics Technician for the Irvine Fine Arts Center for 10 years, retiring in 2004. Currently, you can find Lynn in the Laguna Woods Art Studio focusing on her latest passion for painting landscapes in watercolor and oils. Lynn’s home and studio is located in Laguna Woods, California. |
